Real purdy. So do you use your background as a background image in-render, or do you put the background in during post? I ask because of the characteristic black halo around your ships (matte lines???!!?
Yeah, backgrounds go in as post. The black halo used to be a white halo, but I experimented this image [link] with a black one, to define it from the planet. It proved popular and I liked it, think it gives a dimensionality (new word, okay not so new word) to the ships. And yeah, reminds us of the ol' matte lines. Love those things.
Well.... it's the word I want, at least. Especially if I ever pursue professional dimensionometry!
