"Chief Engineer's Log: We have the Constitution's basic systems up, gravity, lights and the atmo. Whatever took a swipe a the Constitution did so in a very specific way, there is no direct damage to the ship, all the problems are in our re-installation of the systems. Potentially we could cause more damage turning things back on, that what had initially been caused. Currently we are doing a slow start of the warp nacelles, once we have them juiced up, we can start work on the sensor and navigational deflect. We're still looking at two days work at least, plus a few warp jumps to make sure we have the engines correctly balanced. Once saving grace is that whoever the Constitution's engineer is, they keep the Connie in excellent condition. Everything is repair or upgraded by the book, it's practically text book standard. We managed to get access to Captain Dhruva office, some data tapes looked promising, so we sent them over to the Excalibur for analysis. I know Kelly's anxious to get looking for the crew, but I'm pretty sure she'll want the Constitution ready for back-up. Commander Dean Filby recording."
We'll find them in the next image.
