When Amy and Robyn first started talking about having children, it was around a year after they were married and two years after they had first become a couple. Amy actually became quite frightened and nervous about the idea, adoption being ruled out simply due to a recent minefield of new regulations, neither Robyn or Amy were keen on the idea of a strangers genetic code being introduced into their via sperm donation.
It was only when Robyn discovered this clinic that rather than using donor sperm, combined DNA samples from both Amy and Robyn to fertilise ova from either mother, implanted into the mother who wants to carry. On top of that Robyn finds a replacement for herself in her band, so she comes to this point where she wants a baby so much and she want to have that baby with Amy, that she is willing to give up her career and her success to make it happen.
This expression of commitment really wins Amy over and removes her fears that Robyn might leave her because she can't give her a child.
Oh my gosh, did you get all that...complex story is complex...anyway I wasn't to express Amy's feelings in this dreamlike image.
