Amy Vs Teenage Amy Comparison by celticarchie Amy Vs Teenage Amy Comparison by celticarchie
For a while I've been curious as to how Amy would look like younger, around 16 to 18 years old. A college/university era Amy. So I've reverse engineered her morphs a little an this is what I've come up with.

Also, what this has brought to my attention, along with asking some advice from jamminwolfie, :worship: master of teenage and petite morphs, is that Amy being the Average Jill not-overweight-but-often-worries-about-and-will-still-attack-that-pizza-with-extreme-prejudice, kinda girl she is. She wouldn't really be Default V4 height?

Should I change her adult version to match her teenage version? Is her teenage version quite right?

DS4 Pro still sucks by the way. :X

I think this looks pretty good, though the first thing I thought was that the hips are a bit too wide for the teen. The height for the teen against the adult is too short, but it's not really the teen's height that's bad, I would make your adult at 5ft 6in for the average adult height. If, however, you want your adult to stay default V4 height (5ft 10 & 1/2in), then I would make the teen about 5ft, 9in (at least if she's 16, for 13 it's probably 5ft, 6in).

We can't really tell the height with those high heel boots though, nor can we make any real judgement on the body morphs with all those clothes on. I would dress them in bikinis with no shoes and go from there.

Girls stop growing around the age of 16 ...at least in height.

The real difference between 16 and 18 is a widening of hips, getting fuller breasts, a thickening of thighs, and a widening of the jawline.

That being said the only thing your teen Amy has that she shouldn't are those hips. I love hips, but most women wont have them till their twenties.

All in all a really great comparison. I love it.

Actually, looking at graphs that I downloaded years ago says otherwise. At the age of 16, most girls are about 95-97% of their full height. No, not much difference, but there still is some difference, so most don't stop growing there. I agree with the hips/thighs/breasts, not sure about the jawlines but it sounds right, I'm thinking also the rest of the "baby fat" cheeks disappear around 18+. There's no real standard, these graphs are based on most women. Some teens look like adult when they're teens, yet some adults still look like teens and even still have some puffiness in the face.

True, most women grow a little bit after reaching sixteen, but rarely is it several inches in different. I think I can still fit into a lot of the clothing I wore at sixteen provided it's stretchy enough in the right places. My knowledge mostly goes off of anatomy and physiology classes.

Thanks for the advice there it's really helpful. I definitely think I can developed that into her teen character and use it to make her adult character more realistic. :D

Do like I did with Captain Jan and her "sister" Tam. I used V3 with the character package I use for Jan and then applied a high school/teen morph and set it where I wanted it for Tam- same character design only now she was several years younger.
